After Apple released their iPhone 5s last September, rumors about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 have swirled online, as experts say it could be the main competitor of the 5s.

Almost everyone got impressed with the fingerprint scanning feature of Apple's iPhone 5s upon its launch, leading the Korean tech giant to also come up with a similarly impressive feature in the form of an eye scanner. Know Your Mobile reported this rumor recently after Patent Bolt discovered a patent filed by Samsung for a retina scanner.

Even if it is not an actual confirmation, it has triggered more rumors that lead to the S5 possibly having such a feature.

News.com.au discovered a YouTube video recently that shows a new concept design of the Samsung Galaxy S5. The creator with username O2 Guru TV showed the upcoming Samsung phone in aluminum and glass material and a curved top to bottom part. Its display is set in 5 inches and a resolution that is double of the iPhone 5s.

The concept design wanted to impress fans with the idea of a potential phone memory three times bigger than that of the iPhone, and a camera specification of 16MP. Even if the entire video is not an official release from Samsung, it was still able to present such an impressive 3D mock up of the smartphone.

Know Your Mobile added in their recent Galaxy S5 rumor report that it may possibly be the first smart phone to have a 4GB RAM feature, as what Korean sources recently claimed.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S5 release date, the speculations going around note that it may happen during the early parts of next year. Other news of it being unveiled as early as January, during a CES mega gadget show, have also surfaced.

As for its price, if its features will turn out to be the same as that of the impressive concept designs, then fans can expect it tohave a much higher price compared to its predecessors, Tech Radar wrote.
