David and Victoria Beckham have proven that they're more than just British socialites with their latest appearances.

First, David and Victoria made their cover debut on French Vogue this past month. The issue, on which the lovely Mrs. Beckham served as guest editor, received high praise from both the entertainment and fashion industries, as well as the general public.

"We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image. She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work,"  said French Vogue editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt to The Huffington Post.

Next, the Beckham family -- David, Victoria, and their children -- made an appearance at "The Class of '92" movie premiere, which told the story of the "glory days" of the Manchester United soccer (football) team, of which David was a part (and how he, ultimately, first came to fame in the public eye). But David said that watching the movie brought back more memories than he thought.

"It makes me feel old watching it back now," Beckham told Sky News. "You don't have to be a Manchester United fan to enjoy it. There are a lot of laughs in there and some seriousness too. There are moments too when people who know us well will get choked up watching it. There's so much in this film."
