Looks like Kanye West's highly anticipated seventh studio album, "So Help Me God," will be inspired by Kendrick Lamar's just released "To Pimp a Butterfly" LP.

The Chicago emcee recently took to his Twitter account to offer his opinion on the Compton lyricist's latest project. One thing's for sure: he really liked the critically acclaimed record, calling it "an inspiration."

Lamar actually feels the same way about West, as he learned a lot from him during their "Yeezus" tour. He told MTV at the time that witnessing the "Jesus Walks" rapper's performances inspired him. Lamar said that West put everything on the stage.

"The Blacker the Berry" rapper also praised the "Yeezus" album.

"It was hard for me to grasp it on the first take," he told MTV. "As I kept listening throughout the week, I understood what he was doing. That was him stepping out the box again and doing what he felt. As an artist, we all need to take heed and salute that."

The hip-hop duo recently worked together, as K. Dot is listed, via Kanye To The, as one of the 17 musicians credited to the latest single "All Day" off Yeezy's upcoming album.

In addition, "So Help Me God" is expected to be influenced by Drake, who collaborated with Kanye West as featuring artists on Big Sean's "Dark Sky Paradise" single "Blessings."

In a recent interview with Paris' Clique TV, the "Only One" rapper admitted his competition with the Toronto rapper in hip-hop motivated him to make better music.

"I look at Drake as an amazing sparring partner," West said. "Someone who's like, 'Come on, man, get back up!' Bow! 'Get back up! What's up, bro? What you doing?'"

"I was sitting there getting fat. Sitting back, just knocked everybody out. And then this guy hits the gym, he's just running around like, bow, 14 hits, same as Paul McCartney," he added. "I'm like, 'Whoa. OK. Let me go to the studio, then. Let's see what's happening. Let me get these lyrics up. Let me see what's happening.' So, that's where we at right now, that's where you getting these records from."
