Latin Week hit "Dancing with the Stars," so celebrities who are not necessarily known for their cha cha skills got a chance to rumba their way on to another week.

One celebrity who did not survive the salsa was Charlotte McKinney.

The elimination seemed inevitable.

As reported by Fox News, McKinney -- the 22-year old knock-out who is set to appear in "Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser" -- could not stay focused during rehearsals.

The Instagram-oriented model, who found fame doing a racy Carl’s Jr Superbowl ad, was seen constantly checking her email, and blaming her bad time with the dance moves on her dyslexia. After her rumba with dance partner Keo Motsepe, she tied for the last place score and was then eliminated from the show.

Backstage, McKinney voiced her disappointment about her elimination saying: “I was extremely surprised. I thought we did even better than last week. I think we gave it our all. It’s upsetting.”

However bad she felt about herself, McKinney saved her real sadness for her dancing partner Motsepe, telling reporters: “I believe this is way more important to him and I don’t want to see him upset. It was my job to be a good partner to him and I felt like I let him down but at the end of the day, I gave it my all and I gained a friend from this and I’m so thankful and grateful to have been here.”

The 20th season of the ABC hit has pulled together such disparate personalities as Suzanne Somers, Rumer Willis, Patti LaBelle and Willow Shields.

Somers, recalling her own time as a hot young celebrity, was not too worried about McKinney’s elimination, saying: “When you’re young and you’ve got a beautiful, perfect body and all that, you get slotted and it depends which way she wants to take it. She can either stay in that slot or spring out from it, which I did. It’s a choice to make.”

The dance show airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST.
