Real Madrid soccer player James Rodriguez is one of the many stars to sport new Adidas Primeknit shoes as he posted his brand new pair on Instagram.

He captioned the post, "My new Primeknit boots have arrived, I love them! @adidasfootball."

The new Adidas Primeknit 2.0 boots will be worn by many top stars in Europe for the Champions League quarter-finals this week, according to Mirror.

Players already confirmed to be wearing the boots include Barcelona's Luis Suarez and Juan Bernat, Manaco's Fabinho, Madrid's Fernando Torres and Juventus' Alvaro Morata.

Adidas Primeknit boots are the next installment of the brand's "Limited Collection" which started with the 99g boot. Meanwhile, the soccer player enjoys big wins after returning from a season break due to a foot injury.

He posted an Instagram photo as he held his arms open to an excited crowd with the caption, "Thanks for the support!"

Rodriguez also posted an Instagram photo with his team explaining the importance of winning a game. "Today's team work was awesome, the support at Bernabeu, incredible! #HalaMadrid," he captured the post.

His recent Instagram posts show he is happy to be back in full swing of the game. In one post, the soccer play sits in a King's chair with a soccer ball at his foot.

He captioned the post, "The new Real Madrid Gamedayplus episodio from @adidasfootball is out! Check it out!"

The star has also been spending a lot of time with his daughter. He recently posted an Instagram photo of the two of them walking hand in hand.


Meanwhile, Madrid's Spanish star Isco admits to being upset over losing his spot in the starting line-up to Rodriguez, Daily Mail reports.

Isco was one of the team's best players this season but fell right out of the team when Rodriguez returned after recovering from his injury.
