Now that the most traumatic episode since Lady Sybil’s death on “Downton Abbey” is over, “Outlander” continues.

Episode 12 sees Scotland’s power couple arrive at Jamie’s home of Lallybroch but the drama does not end with their arrival.

Starz’s synopsis of the episode is rather vague: “Claire and Jamie are reunited and head to his family home, where old animosities between Jamie and his sister, Jenny, are rekindled.”

Very little is known about Jenny (Laura Donnelly). In the first episode of the series we learn Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) raped her when British troops arrived at Lallybroch.

Following the escape of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) from the witch trial as well as the revelation of all the truth behind Claire’s arrival in 18th Century Scotland, the couple went to Lallybroch. However, from the previews it seems more problems awaits the couple.

It appears that, in Jamie’s absence, Jenny and her husband have taken over the running of the estate but, as the synopsis hints, the two siblings will clash with each other though they do not reveal exactly about what. The preview shows a bit of tension between the siblings.

“Do you think life started when you two walked through that door?” Jenny presumanly questions Jamie but it could be Claire as well. The argument or tension does not appear to subside as another shot shows Jenny pulling Jamie.

Some of the reasoning behind the tension is revealed in another preview Starz released. It shows Claire and Jamie riding in the woods before they arrive at Lallybroch. It has been a pattern with Starz that they release a short sneak peek of the first seconds of the episode before it airs, which is why I posit the moment is before the couple arrives at the estate.

Could it be true that Jenny had a child because of Randall’s rape? In none of the previews released was there a focus on a child though it could be that the child was removed from Lallybroch. But, why would Jenny be mad at Jamie? He could do nothing as the scene at the beginning of the episode showed.

The only reason could be is that he never returned after becoming free from Randall’s clutches, but as Claire asked in the preview, would it not be dangerous to stay at Lallybroch?

Towards the end of the trailer we see in Jamie in the river as British Redcoats arrive. This scene could be related to what E! News reveals. When the two arrive at Lallybroch, they learn a mill needs fixing so Jamie goes to the river, gets undressed and tries to fix it.

When asked about all the nude and sex scenes becoming “an old hat,” Heughan said not at all.

“You know, it's a part of the books, it's all in there in the books. We don't shy away from it, but we try to make sure it's always moving the story forward,” he told E! News. “[The river scene] is a kind of fun lighthearted moment in the story, but it actually moves the story forward, without giving away too much, but there's another character there that may see what's happened to Jamie and it affects them and ultimately moves their relationships forward."

Entertainment Tonight also obtained an exclusive sneak peek into the episode: a discussion between the couple about when Claire should step in. You can watch on their website.

What do you think is happening between Jamie and Jenny? Can it be solved?
