The 69th annual Tony Awards nominations are in and several plays could take home multiple awards at the awards show hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming on CBS on June 7 at 8 p.m. EST.

The dance musical "An American in Paris" received 12 nominations. Four of the nominations are for acting and those actors are all receiving their first nominations, according to Entertainment Weekly

Chita Rivera, who stars in "The Visit" as Claire Zachanassian, the famed billionaire who comes back to her hometown with a bitter and heavy heart.

Rivera has won two Tony's in the past. In 1984, she won a Tony for "The Rink" and in 1993 she won a Tony for "Kiss of the Spider Woman." 

Rivera has been nominated for several Tony's in the past, but did not win. In 2006, she was a nominee for "Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life." In 2003, she was also nominated for "Nine." Rivera also received nominations for plays in 1986, 1983, 1981, 1976 and 1961, according to The Journal Times.

The entire main cast of "Fun Home" received Tony nominations, including one of the youngest Tony nominees in history, 11-year-old Sydney Lucas.
