One lucky 4-year-old got a rare opportunity to fist bump with the President over the weekend.

While on his way to board Marine One on Saturday, President Barack Obama stopped to share one of his famous fist bumps with Luca Martinez on the South Lawn at the White House. The little boy was there with his father, a photographer with the Associated Press, to watch the President's helicopter take off, reports CNN.

However, not only did he get to see the chopper up close, he also caught the president's attention. Before getting on the helicopter, Obama casually strolled over to the press pen to greet the little boy, who was wearing big goggles to protect his eyes and a superhero outfit.

Although Luca seemed unphased ‎by his brief meeting with the President, his dad, Pablo Martinez Monsivais, told reporters he thought it was fun. Monsivais added that it was his son's second time seeing the helicopter up close, but the first interaction with the president.

"Luca wasn't starstruck and was very calm for a 4-year-old who just greeted the president," Monsivais told PEOPLE. "By the way, he knows who 'POTUS' is; he says that 'Barack Obama is President of Washington D.C.' "

Obama spent the rest of the day at Camp David, his 36th visit to the presidential retreat.

Last month, First Lady Michelle Obama revealed her oldest daughter was taught to drive by the Secret Service during an interview with TV host and celebrity chef Rachael Ray. Now, the 16-year-old is allowed to occasionally drive outside of the White House grounds on her own.

"The Secret Service [taught her], actually, because they wouldn't let me in the car with her," said Mrs. Obama in an interview, reports The New York Daily News.
