Take a look inside the most expensive MLS-listed home in the state of Louisiana. The current priciest property in Louisiana is listed at $7.99 million, which is actually a bargain now, Realtor reported.

The site noted that its price was actually reduced several times since its first asking price almost four years ago of $12.5 million. The property listing of the 10,576-square-foot home is handled by real estate broker Judith Oudt. Oudt reportedly told Realtor why she thinks this is a good buy at its curret asking price.

"Condos in this area go for $900 or $1,000 per square foot. This beautiful home is now $761 per square foot, and you'™ll be the owner of one of the largest -- if not the largest -- lot of land in the Garden District," Oudt confidently explained.

Based on its listing, this house constructed in the 1860s has lots of amenities to offer. The said property is a single-family home containing seven bedrooms, six full baths and two half baths. The luxury estate also comes with a three-car garage, balcony, porch, central heating system and a pool to beat this summer heat.

The listing described this Louisiana home as "Magnificent Garden District Mansion in Italianate Neoclassical Architecture style. Built between 1859-1865. Spectacular grounds with beautiful pool, elaborate ironwork. Features an approx 1529 sq ft, 2 bedroom/2 bath carriage house. Quality restoration. Formally known as the Robinson House. Real Estate Deposit must be by wire transfer."

However, what's more attractive in the deal is that some appliances such as the "cook top, double oven, dishwasher, ice maker, trash masher and wine cooler" are included.

The broker also confirmed other included items in the transaction such as ornate furnishing inside the house. The "intricate draperies, the custom-made rugs, the chandeliers, the gold leaf moldings" will also be owned by the future owner of the property.

Looking at Trulia's average listing prices of homes in Louisiana -- West Feliciana ($494,186), Pointe Coupee ($402,274), Saint Tammany ($363,859), Plaquemines ($350,142) Orleans ($335,781) and Cameron ($326,540) -- one might take a step back in buying this home.

However, if you take a look again at the photos featured on the listing, you will see the home's grandeur and beauty, wrapped in golden splendor. Do you think this property is really a 'bargain' at $7.9 million?
