Although Michael Rowe may not be a superhero in real life, he confessed that playing one of TV is "the best job in the world."

During an interview at the Motor City Comic Con in Michigan, the "Arrow" actor opened up about what it's like to play Deadshot on the hit CW series. He also admitted that he was iniatially casted for the role of an Army sniper named Finn. Later on he was told that he would instead be playing Deadshot.

Rowe said he was shocked. "You've gotta be kidding me man," he said recalling his reaction when he got the good news, reports The CW.

Rowe went on to say that starring on the show has motivated him to hit the gym since his co-stars are "all like professional wrestlers."

After fighting against Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen, he went up against David Ramsey's character Diggle.

"He's like 6'4″ 230 pounds," said Rowe, describing Ramsey.

The anti-hero star also said that he is excited about seeing the new "Suicide Squad" movie and how mega star Will Smith will portray his character.

"We did a good job at what we were doing on TV and that gave them the confidence to take it all the way to the film version."

During an interview at the recent 2015 CW Upfronts, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell also opened up to TVLine about Oliver's budding romance with Felicity, the return of Damien Dark and his new identity in Season 3.

When asked if the romance between Oliver and Felicity will continue, Amell gave his fans a bit of information.

"I think that's the plan," he said. "As we know on our show, nothing bad ever happens when people are super happy."

After talking about the Felicity and Oliver love fest, Amell explained that Oliver can no longer use the Arrow persona because it would undo all the sacrifices that Roy made when he outed himself as the Arrow.

"Roy sacrificed himself, so if I were to recreate the suit and go out, it would undo all of the sacrifice that he made. So the Arrow persona -- for better or for worse -- it can't exist anymore," he said.

However, because Oliver can no longer be The Arrow, this leaves room for him to make a full transition into becoming a more traditional version of DC Comics' Green Arrow.

Amell also confirmed that fans can expect to see Damien Dark return next season as the new big bad.

"Safe to say we'll hear that name again -- H.I.V.E. Damian Dark. Coast City -- all that good stuff," said Amell.
