Fans of the iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan could soon see the superstar not just inside the ring but also on the big screen again. Word is out that the 61-year-old wrestler is in talks to join the star-studded cast of the upcoming fourth installment of "The Expendables."

Although the reception on the third movie was mixed, with many unhappy that young stars have replaced some old-time favorites, a fourth movie is said to be in the works, noted Screen Rant.

The plot of "The Expendables 4" is still unknown with the cast yet to be announced. However, the wrestler hinted of his possible participation in the upcoming movie.

Hulk Hogan was in Birmingham, England, as a guest for the Body Pro Expo when the news of his possible role in the movie came up.

"Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing 'The Expendables 4.' We're trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world," said the six-time World Heavyweight Champion for the World Wrestling Federation.

He added that his first foray into films was due to Stallone.

"Y'know, Stallone gave me my first break and he's been a great friend. We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out," continued Hogan.

Should the wrestler come into the film, it wouldn't be the first time that Stallone was successful in having his friends and former co-stars come on board. Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas and Dolph Lundgren all joined the first "Expendables" films.

Based from the wrestler's comments, it seems that he is being lined up to be the major villain in the upcoming fourth installment. The former bad guys list includes Mel Gibson and Jean Claude Van Damme.

Meanwhile, in 2014, Jackie Chan already confirmed that he would join the fourth installment.

The martial arts actor told Den of Geek that he received an offer to join the cast of the movie.

"The office called -- Sly [Stallone] wants me for 'Expendables 4.' I said, 'Okay.' Because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused," said Chan.

He clarified, "Well, I didn't refuse, but I said, 'Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.' Because then the audience is, 'Oh!' And then I'm gone."

Pierce Brosnan is also confirmed for the upcoming fourth installment, reported ShortList Magazine.
