Jamie Dornan is starting to become a fan favorite in the upcoming film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. Meanwhile, one British beauty has admitted that she once dreamed of being one of the Northern Irish Australian's co-stars in the movie.

Although fans may have originally been skeptical about the role of Christian Grey due to the abrupt departure of "Sons of Anarchy's" Charlie Hunnam, it would seem that fans are finally comfortable with Dornan stepping into Christian's fine, leather shoes.

This meme has begun spreading on the Internet:

"@E_L_James @JamieDornan1 No wonder he's the most interesting man in the world!" Annie Van Pelt tweeted with the meme, which author E.L. James herself retweeted.

Fans loved it and showed their love for both the meme and Dornan in the tweet's comment section.

In addition, this image was created for a fan page:

Even James seems to have Dornan on her mind. While playing Scrabble recently, she couldn't help imagining her Christian Grey actor being all over that Scrabble board:

"Reminds me of something... Or someone... Who can it be?" James wrote in the photo's caption, which she posted on her Instagram page.

Over 6,500 people liked the photo, showing that things tend happen for a reason. Although Hunnam may have been moviemakers' first choice, Dornan is definitely striking (or should I say spanking?) a chord with Fifty Shades of Grey fans.

A different sexy star, on the other hand, did not get the chance to win over Fifty Shades of Grey fans, although she tried to win over casting directors twice.

Model Keeley Hazell dons the cover of FHM magazine this month, where she explained her former Fifty Shades of Grey dreams.

"I've done some acting stuff -- a couple of films and other projects," she reportedly told the magazine. "I auditioned twice for Fifty Shades of Grey. That was a pretty, erm, 'interesting' experience."

Apparently the 27-year-old model wasn't too disappointed when Dakota Johnson was cast as Anastasia Steele because her true passion is writing.

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters Feb. 13, 2015.
