Actress Jada Pinkett Smith stopped by "Despierta America" early on Wednesday to promote her latest film "Magic Mike XXL" and shocked the show's hosts by speaking a very clear and fluent Spanish.

The actress stopped by the Spanish-language morning show, which airs on Univision, to discuss her role in the new film, her family and play a few games with the show's cast.

"I am very excited to be here. We are going to enjoy this because I am going to attempt to speak only in Spanish, I am scared, but I am going to attempt," the actress said.

Host Johnny Lozada told her that he was surprised and impressed with her Spanish and that she spoke it better than her husband, Will Smith, who has been on the show four times. Francisca Lachapel told the 42-year-old star that she should not be embarrassed by her Spanish because her own English is not all that great.

Smith has revealed that he can speak the language during various events in the past, but one of the most popular was during a red carpet event for his 2013 film "After Earth."

The Huffington Post reports Smith and his son were stopped by an NBC contributor for questions about their film. While the questions were asked in English, Smith quickly responded with a clear Spanish response, to the reporter and his son's surprise, but admitted to being nervous about his Spanish.

Jaden Smith would later go on "Despierta America," like his parents, and although he needed help translating certain things, chose to do the interview in the native language of the channel's viewers.

During her time on the show, the cast got into the spirit of Pinkett Smith's latest film "Magic Mike XXL" by having the male cast members dance for her and Lachapel. They posted videos of this on the show's Instagram account.
