The Saturn Awards were held this weekend and Grant Gustin was present and revealed news about the upcoming "The Flash" Season 2.

After receiving the Breakthrough Performance Award at the ceremony, Gustin had some time to talk about his award and the new season. Regarding his award Gustin said, "Its really cool. This is my first winning an acting award so I will cherish this forever."

The actor also noted that it felt like he was at the Oscars and did not realize that upon receiving his award he would be responding questions to the press and taking pictures.

During the Q and A, Gustin was asked what he was a huge fan of and he said, "Many things. I was a fan of Chris Reeves and 'Superman.'" He also admitted to preferring DC Comics over Marvel.

Gustin also had time to talk about the new season to "The Flash" and said that the new season would have a new main villain. He said, "A really cool 'big bad' one that's going to be revealed kind of immediately."

Gustin also said that he would be involved in the new season of "Legends of Tomorrow," the spinoff to "The Flash" and "Arrow."

He said, "I'm going to be a part of that right out of the gates as well. So I don't really know what to expect from that show yet, I don't think anybody does, but I'm excited to be a part of it. I get to be Flash on three TV shows. I was unemployed a year-and-a-half ago, so that's pretty cool."

The first season of "The Flash" was a huge hit when it was released last year on CW and the network immediately announced that a second season would be made. The show tells the story of Barry Allen, who uses his super powers to become "The Flash" and fight crime in Central City. Season 2 begins on Oct. 6.
