The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly shopping veteran shooting guard Joe Johnson, while the Toronto Raptors could part ways with DeMar DeRozan before the start of the 2015-16 NBA season.

According to ESPN, the Nets and the Memphis Grizzlies recently discussed a potential deal involving Johnson, but the two teams failed to find a common ground.

Brooklyn and Memphis have ended the negotiations, but the Nets are still reportedly actively looking for a trade partner. Sources indicated that the Nets are still optimistic they could find a team willing to absorb Johnson, who has one year left in his hefty contract worth $24.9 million next season.

Aside from the Grizzlies, the Nets reportedly talked to the Detroit Pistons about a possible deal. The Pistons inquired about the availability of the All-Star shooting guard before the trade deadline last season, but it appears they are not as interested as they were in February, especially after taking the $7.9 million salary of Ersan Ilyasova.

The Hornets were also mentioned as a potential landing spot, but are now out of the picture after acquiring veteran forward Nicolas Batum from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh.

Johnson, who spent the past three seasons in Brooklyn, averaged 14.4 points in 80 games, which was his lowest output since tallying 9.8 points a game during the 2002-03 season when he was still a third-year player for the Phoenix Suns.

Meanwhile, DeRozan could also find himself changing zip code this summer as reports revealed the Raptors will consider moving him this offseason.

DeRozan averaged 20.1 points on top of 4.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Raptors last season. He played an important role for the Raptors, who struggled in all 22 games that he missed due to injuries.

However, the Toronto Sun reported that Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri could "swing a deal" involving DeRozan, who still has two-years left in his contract and will earn $19 million in the next two seasons.

DeRozan and his camp will reportedly command salary around $25 million per year when his current contract runs out. Sources said the Raptors will likely trade the 25-year-old shooting guard instead of giving him a lucrative deal that will be over their budget for a certain player.

Ujiri is expected to make big moves after another disappointing stint in the playoffs. Recent reports indicated that they will also make a strong push to acquire free-agent superstar LaMarcus Aldridge this summer.
