The Pro Bowl has seemingly been on the verge of getting abolished by the NFL but the game will live on for at least another season.

However, the league is apparently making a last ditch effort to revive the game by changing it around; there will no longer be an NFC team vs. an AFC team but rather "Team Rice and Team Sanders."

If Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders popped in your head when you heard the team names, you were correct. The two former NFL stars picked their teams in what was a fantasy-style draft of a large pool of players that were selected to go to the Pro Bowl this season. At the very least, this will be interesting to watch considering that it is the first time we've seen the game set up this way. Whether it will be received well or not by the fans is clearly yet to be seen.

Although a number of star players will be playing at some point in the game, only so many players can be on the field at once. With this being said we can expect the coaches on both sides to rotate the players throughout the game.

Getting the start at quarterback for Team Sanders is Andrew Luck while Drew Brees gets the nod for Team Rice. Check out the rest of the starters and roster members by heading to NFL.com.

The game will be broadcast live on NBC Network and if you are not by a TV then you can watch the game online via live stream at NBC Live Extra. The link to the live stream can be found here.
