Billy Joel married Alexis Roderick in a surprise wedding ceremony on July 4!

According to People, the couple surprised their guests at their annual Fourth of July party. They had an intimate ceremony with just close friends and family at Joel's estate on Long Island.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo presided over the nuptials for his longtime friend.

Joel and Roderick have been together since 2009. The 66-year-old singer and 33-year-old equestrian and former Morgan Stanley executive are expecting a baby girl together this summer.

"Billy is thrilled to become a dad again," a source said back in April.

Joel's 29-year-old daughter singer and songwriter Alexa Ray attended the wedding. Actor Kevin James and model Christie Brinkley were also part of the small group who attended the ceremony. This is his fourth time being married.

Meanwhile, the famous music legend is on tour right now, according to his website. His next concert at Fenway Park in Boston on July 16 is sold out. Other sold-out concerts include his stop at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale on Aug. 4 and the Madison Square Garden in New York on Aug. 20.

Fans still have time to purchase tickets for Joel's July 25 concert at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. He will also stop in Chicago and Philadelphia in August where tickets are still available.

Joel set a record for the most performances by a single artist at Madison Square Garden with his 65th show on Wednesday, ABC News reports. Elton John held the title before him.

The legend is known for topping the music charts in the 1970s and 1980s, according to Biography.com. One of his most famous hits, "We Didn't Start the Fire," won him a Grammy Legend Award in 1989.

Back in 2013, the music legend received the Kennedy Center Honors.
