Some people wondered whether Peyton Manning's career was coming to an end following his serious neck surgery in 2011.

As we fast forward to 2014, the future Hall of Fame quarterback has since padded his resume even more by breaking the touchdown record yet again and clinching his third Super Bowl appearance. But at his age, the big question still remains: does the 38 year old have enough left in the tank after this season?

All indications are pointing towards Manning playing at least another season in the NFL. In an interview he gave after arriving in New York for his team's big matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on the world stage, Manning gave Broncos fans exactly what they wanted to hear.

"... I certainly want to continue to keep playing," he said, while also saying that he will most likely stop playing once he realizes that he cannot help a team produce and once he stops enjoying it. He was careful not to take any shots at players who retired at the top of their game.

"I know that there have been a number of players who have walked away as champions," he said. "I'm sure that it is a great feeling for those people. John Elway, Ray Lewis did it last year, and Michael Strahan. In talking to Ray Lewis, and talking to John Elway, they couldn't play anymore. It was all they had to give. They truly left it all out there. I certainly had a career change two years ago with my injury and with changing teams. I've been truly on a one-year-at-a-time basis."

What do you think about Manning's chances in the Super Bowl against the stingy Seahawks defense? Can he fire up his team's offense and lead them to victory or will he lose his second consecutive Super Bowl?
