"Big Bang Theory" star Johnny Galecki is moving in to a posh home in Hollywood Hills.

The actor who portrays Leonard Hofstadter, one of the nerd scientists in the long-running hit TV series, has just dropped a whopping $9.2 million to Jason Statham's and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's former estate, Los Angeles Times reported. The broker who represented Galecki was Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, while Ben Bacal of Rodeo Realty served as the British celebrities' listing agent.

The Belgium-born actor also paid around $200,000 more than the original June listing price, which was nearly $9 million.

A true blue celebrity home

The 40-year-old actor, who also appeared in the Will Smith-starrer 2008 movie, "Hancock," was not the only celebrity who got attracted to the Hollywood Hills home. Before the "Furious Seven" and "Mad Max: Fury Road" stars bought the property in 2011 for $7.325 million, per public records, the residence was also owned by "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" actor Ben Stiller and "SGU Stargate Universe" TV series star Lou Diamond Phillips at another time, the Times informed.

Galecki's new bachelor's pad

The new dwelling place of the actor includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a living room, a family room, a library, and a gym. The whole property is sitting on more than half an acre of California lot.

Variety added that the 5,334-square-foot residence, citing the L.A. Tax office on the size, also features a formal dining room and a fully-functional kitchen. It has a motor court, a detached two-car garage with living quarters above and several resting and meditation places like the verandas, terraces, and the balconies.

The photos of the home reveal lush landscaping, which Galecki might find delightful. The house showcases a vibrant setting courtesy of the lively plants adorning the property. Interior details of the abode also boast a nature-inspired theme.

A new watering hole for the whole gang?

The Hollywood Hills property could serve as the new chill out place for the "Big Bang Theory" cast.

Melissa Rauch, the actress who plays microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski, confirmed that the stars of the show are close friends in real life.

"A lot of us hang out. It's just a close-knit group. Kaley is the best at throwing parties. Mayim's the deep thinker, and Kunal is a big giggler. We all get along, and it's a nice family feel," Rauch told People.
