Be strong, the show must go on -- while he still mourns for the sudden tragic death of his friend and co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman, Liam Hemsworth returns to the set of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 on Tuesday (Feb. 4).

The 24-year-old actor was seen getting ready to shoot scenes on the set of the upcoming sequel in Atlanta. He changed to his costume to play the role of his character Gale Hawthorne, wearing a black and gray long coat, matched with gray pants and light gray shoes.

Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away having already completed filming the majority of his part on the finale, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. Furthermore, it has been reported that the late actor had only about seven days worth of filming left for his role of Plutarch Heavensbee, a rebel leader and former gamemaker. However, there is one significant scene left to film for Part 2, so another character is expected to replace Heavensbee in the crucial part of the movie. Other than that, the production of the sequels will move forward without any other required changes.

On Monday, Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, and the rest of the cast of The Hunger Games released a joint statement of condolences following Hoffman's death on Sunday. "Words cannot convey the devastating loss we are all feeling right now," the tribute said. "Philip was a wonderful person and an exceptional talent, and our hearts are breaking. Our deepest condolences go out to his family."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 hits theaters on Nov. 21, while The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 is scheduled for November 2015 release.
