What features should we expect iOS 8 to have?

It wouldn't be entirely accurate to state that IOS 8 is entirely fitness minded, but make no mistake Apple is squarely positioning its latest mobile operating system as a health aid. Should Nike and Jawbone be worried?

The exact same layout

Until the advent of iOS 7 each new release of Apples popular mobile operating system stayed largely the same. Of course under the hood improvements were made, multitasking was kind of introduced, and you could finally organize your apps via folders. iPhone and iPad users wanted more and more features. Control center was perhaps the biggest feature that iOS 7 introduced. The most striking change was the iPhone tweaked graphical user interface. Gone were the dated skeuomorphic icons; flat was in for the long haul.

iOS 8 won't redo the design for a second year in a row. It also won't bring other android staples such as widgets to the fray. I hate to say it but users should just feel lucky that they finally got the ability to open up more than eight webpages at a single time.

iWatch Integration

During a shareholders conference call Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that 2014 was going to be a massive year for Apple. Not one but multiple product categories are going to be introduced this year. One of these product category should be the iWatch. If you're not familiar with that iWatch concept, let me break it down for you: possibly using curved sapphire glass, and definitely using advanced sensors as well as iOS 8, that iWatch will do for the watch what Swiss Army knives did for tools and utensils. It's going to be a pedometer, an alarm, a heart rate monitor, a communication tool, a blood pressure tracker, a glucose level checker and more.

Faster, more fluid animations

iOS 7 brought forth new and exciting animations such as the parallax effect. Users really enjoyed the ability to tilt their phone and experience the 3-D like effect the gave them. It would be a shocker then if the latest version of iOS didn't offer up new animations and tweaked those already out.
