Miley has been making progress in her quest to give up -- or at least smoke fewer -- cigarettes. The Wrecking Ball singer previously admitted that she regularly uses marijuana but has revealed that she stopped smoking tobacco in early December. On Monday she wrote on Twitter: ''2 months no cigs #proudofmyself [sic].''

During an interview with Ronan Farrow for the March issue of W magazine, Miley said ''I love weed. I just love getting stoned. I just want it to be back to where it's, like, organic, good weed.''

After Philip Seymour Hoffman's death due to heroin last week, Miley's friend Demi tweeted: ''I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is. Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun.''

"Quelle surprise, just days after her naked shoot for W magazine is revealed, the 21-year-old is topless again, this time to pose in an exclusive photo spread by Mario Testino for the March issue of the fashion magazine," The Independent reported.

"The special issue, called 'Blonde Angel', marks Cyrus' debut as a Vogue cover star. It also appears to show that she is slowly morphing into 'Like A Virgin'-era 1980s Madonna."

"I liked the idea of showing Miley differently from how we know her. As a women and not a girl anymore," photographer Mario Testino said. "She's in the process of turning herself into a rebel. I wanted to find out if being blond helps with that."

Madonna performed with Miley Cyrus at an MTV Unplugged session together in Hollywood, when Madonna turned Miley into an early-2000s rhinestone cowgirl version of herself. After the show, Miley said "That was pretty f**king cool, you guys. Today was one of those days that it was really easy to get out of bed."

"It sounds super-lame, but as a pop star it's pretty cool performing with [read BEING] Madonna..."
