FC Barcelona forward Pedro is continuously being linked to a move to English Premier League. And for Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres, moving to England could work well for his fellow Spain international.

Torres told the Daily Mirror that he will support his good friend if he decides to leave Spain and move to the Premier League in England. The 31-year-old striker said that Pedro has all the tools to succeed in England.

"I am sure he will do very well there," Torres said. "He has all the ability you would expect from a player who has been at Barcelona for so many years, but also he has a great work ethic. He works hard, he will help defend, he won't be bullied, he has everything to succeed in the Premier League."

Pedro is continuously being linked to a move out of the Spanish La Liga, as reports revealed several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, are interested in making a move for him.

FC Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez said on Sunday that Pedro has informed the club of his desire to leave, but he insisted that they will not give the 28-year-old up for less than their current asking price of €30 million.

However, Pedro clarified that he did not make a transfer request like Fernandez was claiming, but he admitted that his future at Camp Nou is uncertain because of several factors.

"This is a difficult situation for me, of course I wanted to start," Pedro told The Guardian. "I don't know what will happen, but I will always be a Barca fan. Do I want to leave? The answer is 'no', but my situation is difficult. It's not about money, but about more playing time."

Torres, who has played alongside Pedro with the Spain national soccer team since 2010, said that he understands why the FC Barcelona forward is thinking of moving elsewhere. Torres added that it will be difficult for Pedro to leave Camp Nou, but getting more chances to shine in England is also too hard to pass up.

"I think he will find it very hard to leave Barcelona, but I understand as much as anybody how important it is to be playing regularly, especially once you reach a certain age," Torres said. "You need to be at a club where you are playing a lot of football."

Pedro, who has spent his entire senior club career at Camp Nou, has scored 98 goals in 318 appearances in all competitons for FC Barcelona, ESPN reported.
