Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos is parting with his luxury California property.

Sarandos, the executive credited for "Orange Is the New Black" and "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" series, among others, is offering his Beverly Hills estate for $9.4 million, Realtor.com reported. The 51-year old entertainment guru entrusted his home to be marketed and listed by realtor Jonah Wilson of Hilton Hyland.

According to its listing, the home is "a truly exceptional offering in a prime Beverly Hills location" and can be considered as "one of the best back yards in the flats." The 6,138 square-foot home, which is sitting on 0.38 acres of California land, features five bedrooms, including a guest bedroom, and six and a half bathrooms.

Other living spaces that occupy the estate include a formal dining room with a pleasant view of the surroundings, an expansive and cozy living room and a modern kitchen that also serves as family room equipped with stainless appliances, a hood and a center island that duals as a breakfast area.

Interior details of the two-story Los Angeles residence can be seen on the photos provided on the listing site. Highlights include living spaces flooded with natural light courtesy of several wide and tall windows and additional recessed lighting, immaculate and pristine ambiance due to predominantly white motif and great contrasting colors used in designing the home.

The Beverly Hills abode also provides an indoor-outdoor experience courtesy of the huge three pairs of French doors, giving access from living room to the lawn area.

Aside from the inground pool and the carefully manicured lawn, the outdoors display hedges, that heightened the security of the private home. Thus, it will be a befitting dwelling place of another high-profile celebrity. There is also an outdoor living room where guests may also be entertained either in a semi-formal setting or a casual one like a pool party chatting area.

Sarandos' contribution

Sarandos is also known for producing documentaries for television. The Netflix executive has more than two decades of experience in "home entertainment," Netflix noted. He is famed for being an "innovator in film acquisition and distribution."

The chief content officer is proud of what he does and clarifies that Netflix is not "anti-cinema" or anti-theater," reported IndieWire.

"I love, personally, the experience of going to the theater...but I do think that people need choice and people want choice and if you try to prevent them from choice, it's going to ultimately harm [the theatrical experience]," Sarandos said while in 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
