Michael Shannon may back in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

According to a conversation Shannon had with Vulture, General Zod will definitely return to the DC Comics world.

He said, "I was in my costume and I couldn't use my fingers, because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands. So, I have these wax flippers on my fingers and I couldn't open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder] being like, 'Where's Shannon? Where the f*ck is he?' And the whole crew was standing around. I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, 'Let me out of here!'"

Rumors have already spread the character will turn into Doomsday as he does in the comics. However, nothing is really known. From the trailer, there is a small glimpse of General Zod as a corpse. However, it seems improbable that an actor would return to make such a small cameo and appear dead.

By the looks of it Warner Bros. is trying to interweave all its films together. For example there is already confirmation that Batman will appear in the new "Suicide Squad" movie, which may set up a Batman and joker film.

Additionally, it is likely that this movie will have multiple villains. For example Jesse Eisenberg is playing Lex Luthor and perhaps that character will want to team up with another villain to fight the justice league.

Very little is known about the film and a plot synopsis has yet to clarify what the film will really be about. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Jena Malone, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne and Ezra Miller.

Warner Bros. will release the film on March 25, 2016. The movie will be the first of DC films that Warner Bros. expects to make.
