The recent Gamescom has been the ultimate reference of gamers when it comes to the latest in the gaming world, and fans of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" were not disappointed about what was in store for them.

According to comingsoon.net, Crystal Dynamics, along with Square Enix, revealed that Lara's adventure may not be all about killing after all. Despite the character's nature to fight against all odds in order to reach her goal, the developer of the game said that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" has more subtle ways of dealing with enemies, which include intense dodging and various techniques in order to avoid using any combat material to win against the enemies.

In her new adventure in Siberia, Square Enix made sure that Lara will minimize using lethal weapons to pass through the challenges. Instead, she will use her intelligence and experience to pull a very challenging mission. The footage presented by Microsoft during the E3 event shows Lara with her trusted bow and arrow accompanied by a massive courage to tread the wilderness and cold environment. Where stealth is needed, Lara has learned to adjust to the enemy's plans and combat style. "Rise of the Tomb Raider's" harrowing background makes it even more interesting for fans to play the role of Lara.

One of the key moments wherein lethal combat was found insignificant in the game was when Lara met a huge bear. According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the possibility of fighting the bear has been very sparse that the only option for Lara was to run and take on the challenge of avoiding the enemy without using any weapon. Challenges that were featured ahead of the video game's final release include Lara Croft's ability to climb snow-capped mountains and still survive the dangers of an avalanche. The exceptional challenges of climbing have been one of the highlights of the game.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is set to be released as one of Xbox's exclusive games. Xbox One and Xbox 360 will receive the game on Nov. 10, ahead of PlayStation and PCs, which are scheduled by the spring and holiday of 2016.

In a similar report by Attack of the Fan Boy, 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' will launch on the same day as 'Fallout 4', something the director is not worried about as the two games offer complete "different gaming experience".
