Sultry French actress Léa Seydoux has been offered a role in the Channing Tatum-starrer film, "Gambit."

Seydoux, who will grace the silver screen in the next James Bond movie, "Spectre," as a Bond girl, is chosen as the female lead in the X-men spinoff, according to Deadline.

The 20th Century Fox movie, which will be directed by Rupert Wyatt, will feature Seydoux as Belladonna Boudreaux/Bella, if she accepts the part. Deadline noted that the characters Gambit and Bella know each other since childhood and Bella has been Remy LeBeau's (Gambit) love. Aside from Seydoux, the other actresses considered for the role were said to be "Mad Max: Fury Road" actress Abbey Lee and "Mission: Impossible: Rogue Nation" star Rebecca Ferguson.

An up and coming Hollywood star

The 30-year-old actress knew why acting fits her personality.

"I found it hard to express myself in the world. I was very shy. I'm still very shy. But also when I was a child I could get very... I had this violence... I still get angry. But I don't break things, I'm not hysterical. You can express yourself through acting in ways you cannot in real life," Seydoux shared on Vogue in 2013.

Seydoux has appeared in films directed by famous and critically acclaimed directors like Quentin Tarantino, Brad Bird, Woody Allen and Wes Anderson, in "Inglourious Basterds," "Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol," "Midnight in Paris" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel."

"She is an enormously gifted girl, enormously beautiful. Although she only had a few very brief moments in Midnight in Paris, everyone fell in love with her and kept asking me at every screening, 'Who's that girl, who's that girl?'" the four-time Oscar awardee said, as quoted by Vogue.

Indeed, the innocent-looking actress can easily transform into a sexy woman or even a strong-willed female lead, as seen in the video below, when she was introduced as Madeleine Swan, one of the Bond Girls.

It is interesting to see how she will portray the role of Belladonna, the leader of the Assassins Guild who happens to have powers, too.

"Gambit" is slated for release in theaters on Oct. 7, 2016, according to  ComicBookResources.com.
