With the month of September beginning, a number of new films will be coming out and many Latinos will participate in some of the most anticipated movies of this month.

The month begins this week on Sept. 4 when Pantelion will release "Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos" in limited release. The movie is the first Spanish language animated film to be released in the U.S, and it stars an outstanding cast that includes Angelica Vale, Bruno Bichir, Maite Perroni and Omar Chaparro. The movie has already received good reviews and is likely to please Latino audiences when it is released.

On Sept. 11, "Time Out of Mind" will finally make its debut after a year since its World premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. IFC is releasing the drama in limited theaters and on demand; the film stars Richard Gere in the lead role. However, in the supporting cast, Yul Vazquez and Dominic Colon bring Latin flavor to the drama, which received good reviews last year at the festivals.

Latino power continues to show in Hollywood on Sept. 18 as Rosa Salazar will be in "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," the follow-up to the successful "Maze Runner" film.

The same day Lionsgate will release "Sicario" with Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin. The movie premiered at Cannes where it scored rave reviews and immediately scored awards buzz. Directed by acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve the movie tells the story of an idealistic FBI agent who is enlisted by an elected government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs. The movie is extremely timely and is expected to be a huge box office hit when it opens.

The film is a challenging one as it deals with the hardships of bullying and also shows a woman who empowers herself and spreads a more powerful online environment.

On the same day Selena Gomez is also back in "Hotel Transylvania 2," which also stars Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg and promises to be filled with the fun of the first film, which was a huge hit back in 2012.

Eli Roth's film "The Green Inferno" is yet another film with Latinos as it takes place in the Amazon and follows a group of student activists who travel there to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone. The long delayed horror flick stars Nicolas Martinez, Sky Ferreira, Eusebio Arenas and Ignacia Allamand.

Finally "Stonewall" about the riots that led to the gay liberation movement will be released on the 25th along the latter three movies. The film stars Mark Camacho who is joined by Jeremy Irvine, Ron Perlman and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
