Singer Andy Grammer will be enjoying his music on the dance floor for the foreseeable future. The "Honey I'm Good" hitmaker has signed on to compete in the next season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

The hit television show announced the new roster addition on the official DWTS Twitter page with a personalized video by the singer and the caption, "Honey, he's good! Please join us in welcoming @AndyGrammer to #dwts."

"Rumors are true, I'm joining 'Dancing with the Stars,'" Grammer said in the video clip. "Check me out on Sept. 14."

After the announcement, he took to his own social media to share a photo of him dancing with his mother as a kid. The caption read, "This one is for you mom. @DancingABC"

The 31-year-old singer was supposed to be paired up with DWTS pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd, but the blonde stunner shocked the fan base by opting out the season due to an injury, according to People.

Murgatroyd, 29, reportedly "felt great" during rehearsals with Grammer, but an email from her orthopedic surgeon derailed her plans. She was told her surgery will sideline her "for six to eight weeks".

"I wanted to check it out properly and make sure I was good to go for the season," she told People in an interview. "I got my MRI results back and it was a really bad diagnosis. It showed I had 4 torn ligaments and a floating piece of bone at the back of my ankle. My doctor said I needed surgery and I knew I needed to put my health first if I want to keep dancing on the show into my 30s."

Although Murgatroyd will not be hitting the dance floor, another DWTS pro is pumped up and ready with his assigned partner. Series star Derek Hough confirmed his partnership with Bindi Irwin in an interview with Mingle Media TV host Kristyn Burtt.

"She's the best," Hough praised his partner during the interview with Burtt. "You're talking about somebody who literally finds joy in every second of the day. She's so connected to the earth and to wildlife and to the world. There's a sense of wonderment and joy and life just spewing out of her that's contagious and amazing and literally just makes you want to be a better person."

Other personalities revealed as part of the upcoming season include Grammer, Irwin, Victor Espinoza, Nick Carter, Hayes Grier, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega and Chaka Khan.

According to a video posted in the DWTS Twitter account, more cast announcements will be made on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Tuesday night and on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday morning.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 21 will kick off on Sept. 14.
