"iZombie" fans will now have a glimpse of the "fresh brains" Liv Moore will get for herself this season 2 of The CW series.

The official Twitter account for "iZombie" released the show's trailer for the second season.

For those unfamiliar about Liv's (Rose McIver) life, she was a medical student who was turned into a zombie by another zombie named Blaine DeBeers (David Anders of "Once Upon a Time" and "Heroes") via a scratch. Her appearance changed. Her skin turned from being fair to a whitish complexion and her hair from brunette to platinum blonde. Aside from that, she had cravings of human brains, that's why she got a job as a medical examiner under Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti's (Rahul Kohli of "I'll Be Home Soon") supervision, and eventually helped Detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin of "Breakout Kings") solve murder cases by eating the victim's brains. When she intakes a brain, she gets visions that aid in knowing how they were killed.

Liv is also influenced by the brain owner's personality; thus, it's actually interesting for viewers to see her portray different kinds of characters every episode.

From the trailer, the simple Liv is transformed to someone who is fully made up with a different sense of fashion style. This may be why McIver was wearing such perfectly manicured nails in one shooting, as teased in her Twitter account. She may also have procured a brain of a frank elderly who calls out to boys as "punks." In another portion, she also put make-up on Ravi and even put a "F*RT" word on his forehead, so she could have been a prankster in one episode.

These kinds of episodes were already teased by showrunner Rob Thomas in an interview with Comic Book Resources.

"Also like we've grown smarter in figuring out what brains of the week work very well for the show. It helps if it's like a big type, archetype, that we can ask Rose [McIver] to put on each week because we can find the jokes easier, people relate to it more," Thomas said.

He also shared a "new" take on the episodes.

"The way Liv eats brains will be different this year... Last year we would break a murder case first and then figure out what are the other stories going on. I think just little bit of switch in priorities...we are kind of starting with all the other things going on in the episode and then finding a murder case that fits those," Thomas stated.
