"iZombie" star Aly Michalka acquired a California residence worth almost a million dollars.

Michalka, known to fans of The CW series as Peyton, bought a Hollywood Hills West home for $965,000, Los Angeles Times reported. The listing agents for the said property were Joe Reichling and Sara Reichling of Sotheby's International Realty while Alexandria Jack and Anne Loveland of Coldwell Banker represented the 26-year-old celebrity.

The beautiful actress, who can also sing and play instruments well, managed to acquire a mid-century abode. The house does not only provide amazing canyon views but also has remarkable features. The lovely Los Angeles house utilized massive wooden materials in its construction, making it more charming and quaint-looking. Notable details that could have interested the young model were the bamboo flooring, a comfortable open floor plan, spanning glass panels that create a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience and a bright ambiance.

The 1,118-square-foot residence includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fireplace, an updated kitchen, a covered parking, a multilevel deck and an outdoor patio. The grounds are also reportedly landscaped with "drought-tolerant" plants, which make them convenient and easy to maintain.

Going Back to 'iZombie' Season 2

The "iZombie" showrunner Rob Thomas shared to E! Online that Michalka, who did not appear on last season's finale, may not even be back in the series starring Rose McIver as the crime-solving Zombie, Liv Moore. She could be a part of another project anytime, considering that she is not a regular character in the show.

"We adore Aly [Michalka] and we think the show is better when she's in it... But our episodes do fill quickly, with our case-of-the-week story and our zombie mythology stuff, and we knew we were going to lose her to do a pilot this year...But her pilot did not go, so she is available in year two and we have high hopes that she's going to be in the show. Because she's not a series regular, we can't control her schedule. We can hope that when we write these episodes for her, that she can and will do them," Thomas said.

Yet, the musically inclined actress attended the cast's appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con and confirmed her return for the second season, The Hollywood Reporter noted.

"I couldn't leave Peyton hanging and not come back. How could I not come back?... I would like to learn more about Peyton in her personal life outside of being a roommate to Liv... See where her relationship with Ravi (Rahul Kohli) goes," Michalka said.
