The Markieff Morris drama continues in Phoenix as NBC Sports reveals that the Suns are not interested in trading their disgruntled power forward.

"The Suns need and want Morris. They would not stand much of a chance to replace him by trade. They would have no chance to replace him by free agency. They do not have an adequate existing roster option," according to a report from The Arizona Republic.

In a report by ESPN, Markieff has made it clear that since the July trade of his twin brother Marcus to the Detroit Pistons, he wants to be traded out of Phoenix too.

In an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer, Markieff says that he does not want to play in Phoenix. "One thing for sure, I am not going to be there. If you want to put that out there, you can put that out. I don't give a [expletive]. I am not going to be there at all. That's just what it is," he discloses.

He also said that he will be a professional in dealing with the situation, "I've got to show up. No question. You can't do that. I will be a professional. Don't get me wrong. But it won't get that far. I'm going to be out before then, should be."

To make it very clear to the Suns, Markieff posted on Twitter saying that his future is not in Phoenix. According to The Arizona Republic, the Suns know that six weeks with a veteran frontcourt partner such as Chandler should help him recommit to Phoenix.

The Suns know that it will be difficult to find teams interested with Markieff because of a felony aggravated assault from an incident also involving his twin brother and three other people. They are accused of beating a man outside a Phoenix recreation center on Jan. 24, according to a separate report from ESPN. The twins have since pleaded not guilty in Maricopa County Superior Court.

According Arizona Sports, he and his brother felt disrespected by the Suns management because they were never informed about the trade. The twins signed team-friendly deals so that they can play with each other.

The news outlet further reports that Markieff is prepared to do whatever it takes to force his way out of Phoenix with two possible destinations in mind. Markieff prefers the Toronto Raptors because of Kyle Lowry and the Houston Rockets because of James Harden.

The Suns should also be worried because Markieff has not called back any teammates. He also plans to have a standoff when the training camp starts. In the same Arizona Sports report, he is expected to lash out on the team and make a circus during media day.
