Floyd "Money" Mayweather's final bout against Andre Berto concluded in a predictable fashion last night. The fight took place at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and ended in a final score of 117-111, 118-110 and 120-108, with Mayweather ending his 19-year career undefeated with 49 wins.

The match was described as very close and highly competitive, as Mayweather had previously announced this match would be the last of his career. Floyd, now 38, came out on top against two-time welterweight world champion Andre Berto with his signature counter punches and calculated body blows.

The fight ran up to 12 rounds, with most going in Mayweather's favor. The reigning champ determined the pace of the match right up until the very end, where he walked away for the last 10 seconds.

"Round 1 kicked off with several left jabs from Floyd, while Andre seemed to play more cautiously, throwing few punches. Round 2 showed Andre becoming more aggressive, but Floyd landed more punches. In Round 3, Andre charged hard but Floyd won 10-9. Round 4 was very action-packed with Andre taking some big swings, however Floyd came out on top. Round 5 saw lots of clinching and Andre won his first round 10-9. Round 6 was the closest one yet, but Floyd had numerous body shots and defeated him," writes Hollywood Life.

At the end of the grueling fight, Mayweather confirmed again that this will be the definite end of his long-running boxing career.

"My career's over. It's official," Mayweather said in the ring. "You've got to know when to hang it up. ...

"Nineteen years," Mayweather said in a press conference. "I'm going out 49-0. Every fight played a major key. All 48 fights played a major key. It's not just the intelligence, it's the sharp mind, it's the good chin, it's the tremendous heart. I never overlooked no opponent. I trained for every fighter the same way."
