Dallas Stars' goaltender Antti Niemi is ready to say goodbye to his California home.

Niemi, the 32-year-old hockey player, offers the Monte Sereno estate he lived in when he was still with the San Jose Sharks for $3 million, Realtor.com reported.

The property listing on Realtor.com described the athlete's residence as an "exquisite Tuscan style home in exclusive Monte Sereno neighborhood." Notable interior details include soaring ceilings, floors lined with travertine materials, beautiful and high mahogany doors, expansive living spaces and trendy custom accents.

The 4,272-square-foot dwelling place features three and a half bathrooms and five bedrooms, including a huge master suite that comes with a lavish bathroom with a steam shower to boot. Other living areas include a theater room, a wine cellar and a chic kitchen.

Outdoors, the 8,615-square-foot California grounds display a family-friendly entertainment area consisting of a grilling station and a kitchen perfect for small reunions or barbecue parties.

Interested buyers may get in touch with real estate agent Janee Medved of Claremont Properties, who handles the listing. Medved notes that the Tuscan-inspired home "has really beautiful finishes" and the grounds has provision for a swimming pool if the next owners like to have one.

From California to Texas

The Finnish hockey player, who played under San Jose for five seasons, per ESPN stats, has recently signed a three-year deal with the Dallas team that gives him a $4.5 million pay per season, The Dallas Morning News reported. The former Sharks number 1 goalie, Niemi, marks this season with the Stars as his eighth year in his NHL career, and is also anticipating a fruitful partnership with the Dallas team's current goaltender, Kari Lehtonen, noted the site.

"I think it's going to be great to work with Kari," the Vantaa-born player said in the press conference in June.

The new Stars' goalie also seemed excited to be part of Texas' NHL hockey team.

"It's a great time to play with one of the upcoming teams that has lots of talent," Niemi added.

Stars General Manager Jim Nill also thought that their plan will work out well with the two goalies in their roster, NHL.com noted.

"I talked to Kari Lehtonen, and he's actually very excited about it. He thinks it's going to be great. Kari and I talked...if a goalie gets injured, we know we now have that covered," Nill said.

"The endgame is that we want to win. They're excited that this gives us a better chance to win, and that's what we're all here for," the Dallas' GM stated as quoted by ESPN.
