Chloe Bennet embraces her new role as Quake in season 3 of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." with a new costume to boot while Grant Ward showcases his style as the HYDRA's new honcho.

Bennet, who portrays the Inhuman Daisy Johnson/Quake with the magnificent ability to shake things up, will be sporting a new costume when the show airs on Sept. 29, as unveiled by Los Angeles Times.

The young actress shared that she enjoyed her new suit that she herself helped design with Ann Foley. The darker outfit actually matched the "inner geek" in her, says Bennet, who never really was "interested in being the princess."

Foley shared that the Quake costume is something special as it conveys strength and empowerment. The show's talented costume designer customized the Quake suit as she "incorporated the Quake symbol into her gauntlets and on the back of her suit."

Bennet is also proud of Quake's pair of gauntlets, which is something unique to her character.

"It's only something that Daisy would have and is specific to her earthquake powers," Bennet said.

For the rest of Phil Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team members, viewers will also observe them donning costumes that suit the mood next season.

"Everyone just had to grow up. With the events at the end of Season 2 now, you're going to see another shift, and the costumes will reflect a shift for everybody," Foley told The Los Angeles Times.

Grant Ward as HYDRA's boss

Ward (Brett Dalton) is shown riding a fast car with a probable subordinate, as featured in a video on TV Line.

From this clip, he is seen as something very active and hands-on as HYDRA's new leader. He must be very focused in destroying S.H.I.E.L.D. that he commits to rebuilding the group with such intensity.

In an interview with Comic Vine, Dalton shared how the new HYDRA under his management will be a serious threat to Coulson's group.

"This is not like your father's HYDRA...It's not so much pro-world domination as it is anti-S.H.I.E.L.D. This is the yin to Coulson's yang. This is HYDRA in Ward's vision," Dalton said.

The actor explained that the agency was to blame for the downfall of Ward's relationships with Skye [what Daisy Johnson named herself] and with Agent 33. Thus, Ward is very determined into becoming the real bad guy next season, who will oppose S.H.I.E.L.D.
