"Mission: Impossible 6" star Tom Cruise has officially said goodbye to one of his Los Angeles homes.

Cruise, the 53-year-old famous actor portraying Ethan Hunt in the electrifying and action-packed movie franchise he co-produces, sells his Hollywood Hills West abode for $11.4 million, Los Angeles Times reported. The bankable star, who rose to fame in the 1980s films "Risky Business" and "Top Gun," earlier listed the expansive private property for almost $13 million at the start of the year.

Yet, even though the "Jack Reacher 2" lead slashed about $1.6 million from its original asking price, he still earned a cool profit from the sale. The A-list Hollywood celebrity reportedly bought it only for $1.8 million a decade ago, the site noted, citing public records. Thus, he actually sold it for more than six times its sales price in 2005.

Michael Eisenberg of Keller Williams represented Cruise in the deal as his listing agent while Jan Horn of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty represented the buyer of the Hollywood Hills West estate.

The two-story residence is resting on 2.5 acres of California land. The property comes with a European-inspired style main house, another building for crafts work and a separate guest house that comes with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a kitchen. Other living spaces include a wine tasting room and a cellar.

The main house features three bedrooms with bathrooms and a gourmet kitchen. Notable details of the main residence include spanning glass panels and wooden flooring. Photos of the house posted on Curbed LA also show intricately designed doors, bright ambiance courtesy due to the ight-colored motif and sleek decors. A breathtaking image of the surrounding city adorned with its lights awaits the next owners of the elegant home.

Owners can relax outdoors, which features a patio, a lagoon-style swimming pool equipped with a spa and waterfall features as well as stone paths accent the grounds.

Aside from this Hollywood Hills West home, the "Jerry Maguire" lead is unloading another Los Angeles home. The Oscar-nominated actor is selling his nine-bedroom Beverly Hills dwelling place he shared with "Dawson's Creek" actress and ex-wife Katie Holmes for $50 million, Variety announced.

With his success in the entertainment industry, Cruise amassed several real estate properties over the years. It was far from the humble 18-year-old Cruise who went to New York to try out his luck in acting.

"For years, all I had were a bed, a desk and a chair. When I was making a movie, they put me in hotel rooms. Between jobs, I moved back into my apartment, and my lifestyle dropped considerably," Cruise told Roger Ebert in 1986.
