The different plot lines and scandals on "The Bastard Executioner" have gotten so complex it is hard to see where everything is going to end up.

Episode 5 is titled "P. Profit/Proffidwyr Troeth" and will air on cable network FX next Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

Fans got many different angles of the various plots for the show in the last episode, which included Lady Love's bid to maintain her own lands and her shire. But that might prove useless if Wilkin Brattle is not on board with her deception of the king.

The last episode gave fans a dose of what is to come should she not have an heir to her lands and if she does not maintain her lie, according to Vulture. She is now thought to be with child by the king, but fans know all too well that she is not pregnant and she traveled to the court with the sole intention of keeping her lands, by any means necessary.

But now that the deception is out there, the king will be paying her a visit. Not in person of course but rather sending his right hand man to stay close to the situation and potentially expose her lie, according to Spoilers Guide.

The official reason for his visit will be presented as official business of the monarch and thus prove to Lady Love the king is playing an awful game of politics with one of his statesmen, or woman to be exact.

The cat and mouse game between Milus and Brattle will also continue when he enlists Brattle's help on a mission. The mission has the sole intention of retrieving a valuable artifact, but it is not known to what extent its value has.

There are only four episodes left for this gritty period piece so be sure to watch next week's episode. The preview for it is below.
