A teenager pulled a gun on a student at the Community College of Philadelphia Tuesday morning, prompting a campus lockdown.

According to CBS News, the incident began with a dispute between a college student and the 17-year-old suspect. As the argument escalated, the suspect threatened the student with a firearm before walking away.

SWAT Teams were called to the campus, and authorities were alerted to the suspect entering a school building. After searching the facility, the individual was located and apprehended by police. Police were unable to locate the weapon immediately.

No shots were fired during the incident. Authorities say the event is unrelated to the recent threat issued at Philadelphia campuses on Monday.

"These are two individuals who have a history," said Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey to reporters. "They were arguing over something. At some point in time this individual pulls a gun on the other -- not uncommon in Philadelphia, unfortunately."

It is not yet clear if the suspect is a student at the school.

Student Lisa LeCain, who was in the building where the suspect was caught, told the Associated Press about her experience.

"I was kind of freaked out at first not really knowing what to do," said LeCain to the Associated Press. "But people around me were pretty calm, and I figured that as long as I would stay where I was until I'd know what to do, I'd be kind of safe."

On Monday, the FBI sent an email warning college campuses in the Philadelphia area to be on high alert. The warning was likely tied to an investigation of a threatening post on the online forum, 4chan, where a user claimed an attack from the "Beta Revolution" was imminent.

"On October 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. CT, a fellow robot will take up arms against a university near Philadelphia. His cries will be heard, his victims will cower in fear, and the strength of the Union will decay a little more," read the post.

It is unknown what charges the apprehened gunman may face, but authorities said they could include firearms violations, assault or terroristic threats.
