Taylor Swift recently spoke about what she learned from her feud with Nicki Minaj.

The 25-year-old singer said she now texts instead of trying to settle conflicts over Twitter in order to avoid drama before it spreads all over the Internet, according to Us Weekly.

"I don't want to talk about it," Swift said in a new interview. "But I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them."

The minor feud began after Minaj tweeted about not being nominated in MTV's Video of the Year category at the 2015 Video Music Awards. The 32-year-old rapper also commented on how the awards show chooses to "celebrate women with very slim bodies."

After hearing this, Swift took offense, since she was nominated for her "Blank Space" music video and assumed Minaj was referring to her. The "Shake It Off" singer publicly responded, but then the two seemed to resolve the dispute, appearing on stage together during the opening of the VMAs in late August.

"It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015," Swift said about using social media when trying to make amends with others.

In the past, Swift was also caught in a feud with Kanye West. The 38-year-old rapper first created drama with Swift after he interrupted her VMAs acceptance speech in 2009.

"Me and Kanye are on such good terms now," she said. "It took a while... But I had to tell Beck this story earlier. I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys. He stops what he's saying and he goes, 'What is this song? I need to listen to this every day.' I said, 'It's Beck, it's on an album called Morning Phase, I think you've heard of it...'"

Meanwhile, Swift has landed on her first GQ cover for the November 2015 issue. Music writer Chuck Klosterman interviewed the singer, who also participated in a beachside photoshoot in Malibu with photographer Michael Thompson for the magazine.

Swift is currently making the rounds on her "1989" world tour.

The singer released her fifth studio album, "1989," on Oct. 27, 2014. So far the album has produced the singles "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Style," "Bad Blood" and "Wildest Dreams."
