In "Sister Wives" Season 6, Episode 8, "More Girls Than Kody Can Handle," Kody Brown plans a bonding trip to the beach with his five youngest daughters after confessing that he has better relationships with his sons.

Meanwhile, Madison hits a snag when she tries to join the Mormon Church.

Meri Brown makes a decision about attending therapy with Janelle Brown to improve their strained relationship.

What won't be shown in Sunday's episode is the shocking news that Meri has had an online affair.

In Touch Weekly published voicemails Meri allegedly left for the man she was having an online affair with. Meri has admitted to the affair but said she never met the person. Even more shocking is the man turned out to be a woman posing as a man, reports People magazine.

In one voicemail, a woman -- who In Touch claims is Meri -- can be heard saying, "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you -- I just do."

Meri talked about the online relationship in an interview with People.

"During an emotional and vulnerable time earlier this year, I began speaking with someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were," Kody's first wife said. "I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation, but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances."

Despite the online relationship, Kody and his three other wives have stuck by Meri.

"Throughout this ordeal, my family has supported and stood by me," Meri said. "I am grateful to them for their love and strength through this difficult time."

In 2014, Meri divorced Kody so he could legally marry his fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

The Brown family has appeared on the TLC show "Sister Wives" since 2010.
