The Ring's new pound-for-pound king Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez expects a tough fight against Brian Viloria on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Madison Square Garden in New York during the Gennady Golovkin vs. David Lemieux undercard.

"Chocolatito," the World Boxing Council flyweight champion, does not regard his bout with the "Hawaiian Punch" as an easy one because he knows Viloria is a seasoned fighter with great experience, World Boxing News reported.

Even Arnulfo Obando, the unbeaten boxer's trainer, stated that his fighter will have a difficult task in defeating Viloria.

"It's a difficult fight. Although a lot of people are talking about the age of Viloria, we can not forget that he's a very dangerous man who is experienced, hits hard, has excellent combinations. He will be coming to fight. I do not think Viloria will run, because he is under pressure to leave a good image to HBO," Obando told Boxing Scene.

The Filipino fighter also thinks that he could bring some excitement on the table with his level of experience, The Philippine Star noted.

"I think his weakness is he hasn't been tested by a puncher like myself and we'll also have to see if he can withstand pressure," the 34-year-old former champion said.

Gonzalez Ready for Viloria

Yet, even though this is the case, the WBC champ is up for the challenge. Gonzalez also fires back that Viloria has not met a boxer of his caliber in his entire career, too, The Ring informed.

"All the fights are difficult and a lot of things are going to change. I don't think he's faced someone like me," the 28-year-old fighter said.

The fighter, who still remains unbeaten even after 43 fights, per BoxRec, shared that he is even planning to knock out the hard-punching boxer on Saturday, a separate Boxing Scene article noted. The champion already knows he can use his stamina and quickness against his opponent, whom he reportedly described as "not a boxer who can move."

What's next for "Chocolatito"?

The flyweight titlist, although focused on his goal to bringing down Viloria, is reportedly planning to have a rematch with World Boxing Association super flyweight title holder Juan Francisco Estrada, whom he met and defeated in November 2012 in Los Angeles via a unanimous decision.

Recently, Obando informed that his fighter is looking into moving up from the 105-pound division to the 115-pound weight class, noted Boxing Scene.
