LG is one of the most renowned makers of smartphones today, and, recently, they revealed the new LG V10 smartphone that according to GSMarena, received a 24k Gold treatment.

Primarily and currently available only in South Korea, consumers will be able to order the said device in a gold plated color to add a touch of elegance. LG also announced that Karalux, a Vietnam-based company, will handle the fixing of its gold plated color. The gold plating process may not be too complicated and will only require three to four hours of work because it already comprises the stainless steel base.

In another report from Latin Post, the LG V10 may eventually be seen and made available across the U.S., Latin America, Asia as well as the Middle East. The said phablet is also estimated to launch with a market price of $693.

GSM Arena gives more detailed specs of the LG V10, saying that the phablet will carry a 5.7-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 screen resolution, a 16-megapixel primary camera, 4 GB of RAM. It features a Snapdragon 808 processor and will come with a 3,000 mAH Li-Ion battery.

As the physical feature of a phone usually gives the initial value of the device, the LG V10 has a body dimension of 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm. Its weight is approximately 192 grams or 6.77 ounces and supports a SIM and fingerprint sensor.

Its operating system will run the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with a GPU Adreno 418.  It has an internal memory of 64 GB and a five-megapixel secondary camera. Color variants of the LG V10 include Luxe White, Space Black, Modern Beige, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue.

In detail, the camera is comprised by laser autofocus, LED flash and optical image stabilization.

In a review made by Digital Trends about the LG V10, they stated that even though they have tested it, they noticed that it has similar specs with the G4. They expect the LG V10 to perform better, saying, "The video features are pretty awesome, and we hope the second screen proves useful instead of gimmicky. "

Pros include a manual video, a finger print sensor and a second screen that remains to be seen, a solid spec sheet, and, lastly, a rubbery grip for added security. Cons include the design, non-waterproof ability and subpar processor.

The LG V10 is scheduled to launch this October.
