GOP front-runner Donald Trump says Latinos' anger will only drive up his ratings following his upcoming appearance on "Saturday Night Live."

"I know these groups. I get hit with this stuff all the time," Trump told Alisyn Camerota on CNN's "New Day." "They sit at home and tap things out on their iPads when they're home in bed. They go around and look for money from people. They only care about themselves."

The business mogul is being criticized for his conservative right-wing views on immigration reform. He called Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "criminals" during his presidential campaign launch last June and promises to deport 11 million undocumented immigrants should he win.

Yet, his ratings continue to soar and the only GOP candidate that is close to him in the polls is another non-politician, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

Trump is hosting an upcoming episode of "SNL" next month and multiple groups have criticized NBC's announcement because of his views on immigration.

"I have fantastic respect for Hispanics," Trump said. "I actually think I will win the Hispanics."

"I have great respect for Mexico, but they're taking advantage of us," he added. "Ford is moving their factory to Mexico, Nabisco is moving their factory to Mexico."

Meanwhile, Trump and Carson are the only two GOP candidates with double-digit support in the recent CNN poll. Trump received 27 percent support with Carson at 22.

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina's support has been dwindling. She received 4 percent support in the recent CNN poll, down from 11 percent.

Will Trump really win the GOP ticket? It's still too early in the race to tell. Early polling does not account for the amount of people that will actually vote. Plus, certain candidates like Jeb already have a solid following of voters that will automatically choose them.

Either way, no other GOP candidate has made significant numbers like Trump so far.
