Rita Ora has opened up about being sexually abused at the age of 14.

The 24-year-old singer confessed in her upcoming biography "Hot Right Now" that she was in a relationship with a 26-year-old when she was just a minor, according to the Daily Mail. She said she met the older man when she was still a drama student at London's Sylvia Young Theatre School.

Several excerpts from the biography have been released, with one regarding the situation reading, "It is child abuse really, isn't it?"

Despite the scenario of a young girl having relations with an older man, Ora insisted she wasn't a victim to child sex abuse.

"I don't want to say I suffered, because I wanted it," Ora said. "I don't want people to think I was abused but I was definitely more mature than I should have been at 14."

In a previous interview, Ora elaborated on enjoying the companionship of an older man rather than feeling threatened by it.

"I was almost obsessed with having a man feel like he wants me," Ora said in a 2013 interview with Lifetime TV. "It made me feel great and I didn't care what he did or how old he was. I wanted it. It's crazy."

Ora said having an older man interested in her gave her confidence, but now she realizes he listened to her because he wanted one thing.

"I felt like I had a form of respect, I felt like he listened to me," Ora said. "Now I know he listened to me because he obviously wanted to have sex."

The singer's new biography "Hot Right Now" will be released on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Ora released her debut album "Ora" on Aug. 27, 2012. The album, which reached the top of the U.K. albums chart, produced the singles "R.I.P.," "How We Do (Party)," "Shine Ya Light" and "Radioactive."
