The tragedy in Prince William County  on Friday reached media outlets reporting that two teens were found dead in a Mini Van at the Woodbridge Park. The teens were later identified as 17-year-olds Lyle Ferringer and Indya Davis.

The unfortunate incident left many high school students of two different schools grieving including the teens' families, who were shocked at the news that is still currently being investigated. Although the details and the results of the investigations have yet to be determined, reports claim that Davis might have committed suicide.

The Washington Post reported that both Ferringer, who was believed to be Davis' on and off boyfriend since the two met in Middle school, have injuries from stabbing. However the police are still determining the cause of death for Ferringer.

Ferringer was in his usual, jolly mood when he was having lunch with his family at their home on Friday according to Ferringer's father as reported by The Washington Post. "We had a tight bond together," Ferringer's father, Rodney Ferringer said as quoted by The Washington Post.

"He was my son and also like a friend to me. We were outdoors people. We'd like to hunt, fish and go camping. It's just devastating to have him taken away." Apparently, Ferringer's dad revealed that his son had plans to meet with a friend at a mall and even go on a date with his current girlfriend since he wasn't currently dating Davis at that time.

However, it is still being investigated how Davis suddenly got into the picture in Ferringer's plans and why the two were found dead at a back of a locked Mini Van at the park. "Anything that took place was between [the teens]," Sgt. Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County police said as quoted by The Washington Post. "It's just determining what that is."

Meanwhile, an onlooker who lives nearby the scene of the crime has stated that she saw the mini van parked on the street early Friday and was confirmed to be the van where the two teens were found dead 5 p.m. on Saturday, just hours after their families filed a report to the police, The Daily Mail reports.

As the investigations continue, the schools of the late Davis and Ferringer are reportedly taking initial steps in order to cope with the sudden death of their students. There are even Grief counsellors available for the students and staff of the schools. Davis was a senior at Osborne Park High School and Ferringer was a senior at Gar-Field High School, The Daily Mail reports.
