"Empire" is all new this Wednesday night when the Lyons will continue to fight for their individual music companies.

In the next episode, titled "True Love Never," Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) will continue to use his power to demolish the Lyon Dynasty so that the Empire can stay on top of the music industry. He plans to work with Jago (Patrick Mulvey) to turn Empire into a "global music monolith."

Will he succeed? Nobody has been able to defeat Lucious so far, not even a federal agent who had a star witness to a murder he committed.

While Lucious is at Empire, his ex-wife Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) is working to get Lyon Dynasty on top. In Season 2 Episode 7 of "Empire," she will push to get her company involved in a major charity concert.

What will Lucious do to sabotage her new plan? Every time she moves one step further, it seems like Lucious comes in, destroys everything, and pushes her 12 steps back.

Lucious sent his lawyer Thirsty Rawlings (Andre Royo from "The Wire") to steal Cookie's demo tapes by getting a group of gangsters to rob her company. She caught them in the act, chased them off and met Laz Delgado (Adam Rodriguez), her new love interest.

Will Cookie finally move on to develop a healthy relationship away from Lucious? Don't get too excited yet, it could just be another set up.

Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray) was recently kidnapped by gang members who all have matching longhorn tattoos. The bandits let him go for a $40,000 ransom. Yet, Laz has the same tattoo as the men who kidnapped Hakeem.

Is Laz just one of Lucious' workers trying to get information from the inside?

Tune into Fox on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. to catch all new episodes of "Empire."
