Fans are waiting to find out whether Oliver Hampton, the IT specialist played by Conrad Ricamora who is romantically involved with Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), will be murdered in the upcoming episode, titled "Hi, I'm Philip," of the second season of ABC's hit show "How to Get Away with Murder."

In the last installment, viewers were left with Philip Boden (Jefferson White) in Hampton's apartment and Walsh is one hour away. And, according to Entertainment Weekly's Marc Snetiker, Boden might eventually end up killing Hampton, which would explain why Ricamora was not upgraded up to a series regular and why Walsh seems so unstable during the real-time events.

But Hampton's fate is just one of the storylines that might get resolved during the new episode. A teaser for the installment also suggested that Nate Lahey (Billy Brown) will tell Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) that he should kill the high-profile defense attorney and Middleton University instructor.

"Philip makes a threatening move and ADA Sinclair may have figured out a way to take down Annalise," ABC detailed in its official synopsis. "Meanwhile, Catherine and Caleb are forced to make a life changing decision," the network added.

"How to Get Away with Murder" first premiered on ABC on Sept. 25, 2014. The show has been a success with both viewers and critics, earning Davis accolades ranging from a Screen Actors Guild Award to a historic Primetime Emmy Award. Nevertheless, the series has been hit with relatively low ratings recently, Vine Report detailed.

But ABC has assured fans who hope to continue following the stories of Keating & Co that -- at least for the time being -- the legal-mystery drama is still safe. That may also have to do with writer-producer Shonda Rhimes's success with her other prime time shows, "Scandal" and "Grey's Anatomy," which air on the network on the same night, the website explained.

"How to Get Away with Murder" airs Thursday night at 10 p.m. on ABC.
