"Power" is returning to Starz for its third season sometime in the summer of 2016, along with show star La La Anthony.

Anthony, who plays LaKeisha, posted a Twitter photo to let fans know that she is returning to the show in the coming season.

LaKeisha and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) were once best friends, but the relationship got rocky when they fell in love with the same man, Shawn (Sinqua Walls).

Shawn was killed toward the end of Season 2 by his biological father Keenan (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson). Will his death bring the friends back together? Or will his death bring Tasha closer to her husband James, aka Ghost (Omari Hardwick)?

Meanwhile, 50 Cent, who is also a producer for "Power," has been under fire recently for his comments about "Power's" major competitor, "Empire" on Fox.

The former G Unit rapper said that he believes "Empire" started to drop in ratings in Season 2 because the show focuses on a gay artist.

His ex-girlfriend, Vivica A. Fox, implied that 50 Cent is actually gay when she was asked about his homophobic comments on "Watch What Happened Live" on Sunday, Nov. 8.

"First of all, you know the pot called the kettle black is all I'm saying," Fox said of her ex-boyfriend, whom she dated back in 2003.

She went on to clarify that he is not gay, but that he seems to be "undercover." Fox then referenced an old magazine cover that featured 50 Cent and Soulja Boy.

"He just looked like a booty snatcher on that one to me," she said.

The rapper has a lot of beef with women these days, including a fake beef with "Empire's" Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson). Is he really a trouble maker? Or is he just trying to generate publicity ahead of the "Power" Season 3 premiere?

"Power" is already under production, shooting 10 episodes for Season 3. The show garnered 2.39 million viewers for the finale of Season 2 in August.
