The world's most prolific golfer is still teeing off at age 38, but that doesn't mean his body is as durable as it used to be.

Tiger Woods is recovering from a back injury that was expected to sideline him for the Masters, but the veteran is not about to rule himself out of anything. There are still some weeks remaining before the tournament that takes place from April 10 to April 13.

"For Augusta, it's actually still a little too soon, to be honest with you," the golf star said during a news conference on Monday, referring to his chances of suiting up for the Masters. "That's kind of the frustrating thing about this."

Woods' nagging back issue was so bad that he had to leave just before finishing a match on March 2. The speculation surrounding his injury has led people to think that he might not be able to make it to the tournament, which would mark the first time that he would miss the Masters since he started in 1995. He is just shy of the 20 year mark, and it comes as no surprise that Woods is determined to get back on the course.

"I've had a couple weeks off and getting treatment and just working on trying to get ready for Augusta," Woods also said. "As of right now, it's still too soon, which is, as I said, pretty frustrating.

Speaking of injuries, Woods' girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn was forced to miss the Sochi Winter Olympics due to injury. Since then, she has been spotted on the golf course; on Feb. 28 she was seen standing with Tiger's children at The Honda Classic, sparking rumors and speculation that the couple could have interest in having kids down the line.
