Sheriff Joe Arpaio was warned ten months ago to stop profiling Latinos, but the infamous 81-year-old is back in trouble again.

Arpaio, usually known by his nickname, "Sheriff Joe," refused to obey orders and mocked a ruling that required him to stop racially profiling people, according to Judge G. Murray Snow. The judge scolded Arpaio and Sheriff Deputy Jerry Sheridan this week at a federal court in Phoenix, Arizona after the two were summoned.

"Whether or not the sheriff likes it, there is a distinction in immigration law that was not understood by the population and, with all due respect to you, it is not understood by the sheriff, which is that it is not a criminal violation to be in this country without authorization," the judge said to Arpaio on Monday, according to the NY Times.

Arpaio was clearly unhappy with the way things unfolded in the courtroom, telling reporters afterwards that he would be appealing the case.

Arpaio, who is a Korean War veteran, has been a polarizing figure throughout his tenure as Sheriff. He is set to run for the position yet again in 2016, and according to the New York Times, people have donated at least $3 million to his reelection campaign efforts. However, he continues to find himself embroiled in the most controversial situations; he continues to be accused in civil rights cases and the most recent one has gone on for years now. Through it all, Sheriff Joe continues to deny allegations. In the most recent case, Arpaio said "We don't racially profile, I don't care what everybody says," according to the New York Times.
